About Me

Hi friends, I’m Jenny. I’m just a small town girl with big dreams. I was born in Washington State near Seattle but moved to Michigan as a little girl, so Michigan is home to me. I’m from a BIG family that I love dearly. My brothers and sisters always kept me active and my sense of humor sharp. I’m a lover of coffee, girlfriends, dessert, style, red wine, yoga, overall fitness, healthy eating and travel. Life is all about balance. I push myself to be strong in my career field but I’m not living to work my life away. I work so I can enjoy the most important areas of my life, my home life (can I get an Amen?).

My dad has always called me his “wild and adventurous one,” which is incredibly fitting. My adventurous heart is the fire that drives me to love life and to travel as far and as much as I can. I had to see the world for myself. So I set out on a journey I knew I would never regret.

I want to see a new perspective, try new foods and experience life all over the world. My favorite part is that you never return home the same person, traveling changes you. I also love photography and spend a lot of time snapping shots with my Nikon or my iPhone. This silly guy is my husband Daniel and as you can tell by this picture we are never serious about anything in life. Come along on our adventures and read about them here. Enjoy!

{If you’re wondering how my site got the name}

My Grandma Jo had a stroke a few years ago. She has residual expressive aphasia (meaning she understands what she hears/reads but has a hard time expressing herself in words). She has called me Jenny my entire life. For the last few years I’ve been writing her letters and postcards from all over the world. I always sign them “Love, Jenny” so I decided to name my site after our sweet relationship.
